Leonard “Len” Newman, PMP, ITIL v.3 joined EXCEED Corporation in 2007, and has 30 years of leadership and management experience with over 20 years focused on the Government and Healthcare/Insurance industry sectors. Prior to making the move to the IT field in the mid-1990s, Mr. Newman held progressively responsible local and regional management positions in the automotive industry, optimizing the customer service experience and service department efficiency in competitive markets across the country. Mr. Newman has led teams using formal project management practices and performance metrics to maximize value and ROI for organizations including New York Life Insurance Company, National Government Services, Inc., Booz Allen Hamilton, EDS Corporation, Southeast Toyota Distributors, Inc., DOD and civilian Federal agencies, and others. Mr. Newman earned his degree from the University of Maryland, holds PMP and ITIL v.3 certifications, is a Certified Help Desk Director, and holds Maryland Emergency Medical Technician, Hazardous Materials Operations, Emergency Vehicle Operations, and multiple FEMA National Incident Management System certifications.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Newman is also a life member of a local volunteer fire department and serves as an Emergency Medical Services line officer.
