Ms. Rossalynn Abbott, PMP, ITILv3 is EXCEED’s President and has been with the company since January 2003. She is a distinguished executive professional and program manager, with a well-established career leading operations, driving business growth, and guiding teams in delivering exceptional service. As President, she’s responsible for working with the Chairman/CEO in setting EXCEED’s strategic direction, overseeing company growth and all business development efforts, and the management of EXCEED’s federal government, state, and local contract portfolios.
Prior to EXCEED, Ms. Abbott spent over a decade supporting the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL)/Employment and Training Administration’s Job Corps program, the largest federally funded academic and career technical training program for youth in the United States.
Ms. Abbott is also the Site Director for the Project Management Institute (PMI), Baltimore Chapter/Columbia, Maryland meeting location. There, she is responsible for hosting Chapter speaking and networking events, giving Chapter members the opportunity to earn Professional Development Units (PDU’s) towards their Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.
Ms. Abbott holds an M.A. in Communications and Training, from Governors State University and a B.A.in Sociology from Idaho State University. She is a certified PMP, and holds a certification in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3. In addition to her many accomplishments, Ms. Abbott was nominated for the Washington Business Journal’s “Women Who Mean Business” award, which honors the region’s most influential business women.
